Educational Background
Jen is a licensed professional Clinical Counselor LPCC). She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Northern State University, South Dakota, in 2008 and has been working as a mental health therapist since that time. Jen completed the steps to become a National Certified Counselor in 2014.

Professional Background
Jen joined Anchor Christian counseling in April 2017. Before that, Jen worked in the public sector, with job duties that included individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and substance abuse treatment. Her treatment approach recognizes that each person has their own unique story that includes times of strength and times of struggle.

Treatment Approaches
Jen uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is trained in EMDR.
Jen also recognizes that each person is at a different place in their understanding of who God is in their life when they arrive at the office.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
